Ritesh Anand

Ritesh Anand is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic management and performance oversight, currently serving as the Manager Strategy and Performance at the Ministry for Primary Industries since April 2022. Ritesh has held multiple leadership roles including acting positions such as Director Strategy and Engagement at the Department of Internal Affairs and Manager Governance and Performance. Prior roles include managing various teams focused on standards development and ICT performance at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, as well as significant contributions to stakeholder management and project leadership at Statistics New Zealand. Ritesh's educational background includes ongoing doctoral studies in Applied Computing at Lincoln University, complemented by multiple degrees and certifications in related fields. Ritesh is actively involved in community initiatives, including supporting Pacific Islands staff and leading digital standards advocacy.
