Sanjaya Dayananda completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics and Physics from the University of Peradeniya, which they attended from 1996 to 2000. In 2008, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration at Edith Cowan University, completing it in 2010. In 2019, they furthered their education by obtaining a CMA (Australia) degree in Finance, General from the Institute of Certified Management Accountants, Australia, graduating in 2020.
