Larry Rodrigues is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software development and engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Computer Scientist at MITRE since February 2012, Larry specializes in software development utilizing Apache Spark, Jupyter Notebooks, Python, PySpark, and Plotly, as well as interfacing with Elasticsearch and SOLR. Prior roles include Senior Software Engineer positions at Mantech and AT&T GSI, where Larry focused on Java J2EE and Java development, respectively, supporting various government agencies. Earlier experience includes contributions to web-based HR systems at QuickHire and software support for the EPA at Oracle. Larry began a career in programming at Stanley Associates, supporting the US Marine Corps. Educational accomplishments include a Master’s degree in Software Engineering from George Mason University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Virginia Tech.
