Cynthia Fonderson

Cynthia Fonderson is a seasoned professional in data analytics and systems management, currently serving as a Systems and Data Analytics Advisor at MNP since January 2025. Previously, Cynthia held roles at Alberta Investment Management Corporation as an Enterprise Data Steward, where significant contributions included developing over 250 data quality rules, and at CGI and Teck Resources Limited as a Business Analyst, enhancing project effectiveness through stakeholder engagement and analytics support. Early experience as a Data Scientist at Cybera Inc involved the development of predictive models, while a foundational role as a Research Data Scientist at the University of Lethbridge focused on biomedical research. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Data Science and Analytics from the University of Calgary and a Master of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Lethbridge.
