Peter Laufer

Peter Laufer is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and technology roles within the automotive and classifieds sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Technology at mobile.de since March 2023, Peter previously held the position of Director of Engineering and Head of Technology at Adevinta, overseeing the global Motors Vertical marketplaces following the acquisition of eBay Classifieds Group. Peter's tenure at eBay included the role of Head of Technology for their global Motors Vertical marketplaces. Earlier experience includes leadership positions at mobile.de GmbH and Neofonie GmbH, where skills in software development and project management were developed. Peter Laufer earned a Diplom Informatiker degree in Informatik from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin between 2001 and 2007.
