Maggie Fitzsimmons is an Associate Director at Modern working in the financial services and sport management space. She is adept at research and engagement in full-cycle executive recruitment and advisory.
Previously as an executive search consultant at a boutique firm, Maggie was responsible for candidate engagement and client deliverables in a variety of industries including applied metals manufacturing, biomedical manufacturing, and management consulting. Maggie also spent years in the sport management industry supporting high school athletics, college athletics and recreation, and large-scale event management. As a coordinator for a large, recreational facility, she managed the day-to-day operations and the full-cycle employment for a 200-person staff.
Maggie earned her M.S. in Kinesiology with a concentration in Sport and Recreation Leadership from James Madison University and her B.S. in Sport Management from the University of Florida. She is currently completing her Ph.D. at the University of Georgia and researching leadership education.
In her free time, Maggie spends time with her family, watching Formula 1 racing, cooking, and traveling. She also spends time supporting several philanthropic organizations.
