Wen Zhou

Wen Zhou serves as the Director of Infectious Diseases at Moderna since April 2022, specializing in the development and implementation of strategies for combating infectious diseases. Prior to this role, Zhou held various positions at Novartis from 2016 to 2022, including Associate Director and Senior Principal Statistician, where responsibilities encompassed leading Phase III clinical trials for metastatic NSCLC, regulatory submissions, and statistical activities for compounds. Notable achievements include contributions to the global submission team for ceritinib and development of extensive trial monitoring tools. Zhou's earlier experience includes statistical support at Otsuka Pharmaceutical, research fellowship at the FDA, and research assistantship at the University of Maryland. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Chemistry from Peking University and a PhD in Mathematical Statistics and Probability from the University of Maryland.
