Kolby Yarnell has an extensive work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2004, they started their career as a Literary Editor and Assistant Culture Editor at The New York Sun. Kolby then moved on to become a Senior Editor at Culture+Travel magazine from 2006 to 2008. Kolby joined Artforum International Magazine in 2009 as the Managing Editor of Bookforum. In 2011, they joined News Corp as the Senior Opinions Editor for The Daily. From 2012 to 2018, Kolby worked at Adweek, where they held multiple roles including Digital Product Manager, Founder & Head of Adweek Content Studio, and Vice President of Branded Content. In 2018, they became the General Manager of Concert Advertising Marketplace at Vox Media, Inc. Currently, Kolby is the CEO of Modular, a team of email, data, and marketing automation experts. Kolby has also served as a Managing Partner at Modular from 2019 to 2022.
