Whitney Buffa is a seasoned professional in the field of social work with extensive experience in special education and family therapy. Currently serving as a Special Education School Social Worker at Mecosta-Osceola ISD since November 2020, Buffa previously worked as a Family Therapist at Eagle Village, Inc. and completed internships that included crisis intervention and clinical social work. Earlier career roles included Program Director, Legal Advocate, and Volunteer Coordinator at Women's Information Services, Inc. and various positions in journalism. Buffa holds a Master's degree in Social Work from Ferris State University and a Bachelor's degree in Communication from Michigan State University, complemented by foundational education at Delta College and Nouvel Catholic Central High School.
