Luke Smith

Luke Smith currently serves as the Head of Early Investing at Molten Ventures since March 2024. With extensive experience in the venture capital sector, Luke holds multiple board director positions at OutThink, Up Learn, Countingup, and Silico, and previously acted as a board observer for Ably. Prior to joining Molten Ventures, Luke was a Partner at Forward Partners, where work involved investing in early-stage ventures from inception to Series A. Earlier career roles include Investment Associate and Analyst at Reed Elsevier Ventures, and Consultant at Oliver Wyman. Luke's educational background includes a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Cambridge and a BSc in Biology and Chemistry from Durham University.
