Dominik Richter

Dominik Richter is an experienced technology leader with a diverse background in product management, engineering, and security automation. As the co-founder of Mondoo since February 2021, Dominik has focused on enhancing infrastructure understanding and addressing security and operational challenges across various deployment types. Prior to this role, Dominik served as a product manager at Google, where contributions included the launch of the GCP Recommendations platform, utilizing AI for cloud environment optimization. At Chef Software, Dominik was instrumental in developing security automation products, including InSpec and Chef Compliance. Previous entrepreneurial ventures include founding VulcanoSec and Sessionbird GmbH, where innovative collaboration and security solutions were developed. Dominik's earlier career involved significant roles in cloud security at Deutsche Telekom, where organizational growth and security architecture were key achievements. Dominik holds a Master of Engineering in Information and Communication Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Sciences from the University of Applied Sciences Leipzig.
