Jessi Peterson, MS, RD, CDCES, currently serves as an Adjunct Professor and Director of the Didactic Program in Dietetics at Montana State University-Bozeman, where courses focus on nutrition careers, assessment, and research. Jessi has extensive experience in providing nutrition counseling, especially for eating disorders, and developing programs for university students. As an independent consultant, Jessi has been an accomplished public speaker on topics such as weight stigma and diabetes education. Prior roles include Registered Dietitian and Lead Certified Diabetes Educator at Salem Health, and Program Coordinator for Diabetes Education at Silverton Health, where Jessi utilized a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Jessi received a Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition from Oregon Health and Science University and a Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition Science from Montana State University-Bozeman.
