Shayon Chatterjee

Shayon Chatterjee is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in managing investments in global emerging market equities. Currently serving as Managing Director and Partner at Moon Capital since January 2013, Shayon oversees a portfolio worth approximately US$2.0 billion. Prior roles include Senior Partner at Althea Capital LLP, where Shayon managed a start-up hedge fund with US$120 million in assets, and a Portfolio Manager/Senior Analyst at Tudor Investment Corporation, handling around US$1.5 billion in assets and achieving average returns of 15%. Previous experience also includes roles at Oaktree Capital Management and Credit Suisse, with a strong focus on fundamental research and trading strategies across various global markets. Shayon Chatterjee holds a BS in Industrial Engineering and Economics from Columbia Engineering and a Bachelor of Science from Hindu College, Delhi University.
