Chad Engels

Chad is responsible for the business development activities, efforts, and initiatives to effectively grow the Water Resources sector and ensure its financial strength. He focuses on developing and implementing strategies for future growth and manage the Project Management team for the sector.

Chad has been with Moore Engineering since 2004 and, prior to becoming the Water Resources Sector Leader, served as a Senior Project Manager. Chad also serves on the Board of Directors for Moore Engineering and is currently appointed as the District Engineer for the Bois de Sioux Watershed. Throughout his career, Chad has managed the study, development, design, and construction of watershed improvement projects from simple best management practices to complex flood risk reduction and water quality improvement infrastructure.

Chad earned a master’s degree in environmental engineering from North Dakota State University and a bachelor’s degree from Bemidji State University. He is registered in Minnesota and North Dakota.
