Katy Vinroot is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education and administrative support. Currently serving as a Scholarship Program Assistant at the Morehead-Cain Foundation since September 2019, Katy has previously held roles such as Assistant to the Associate Director at The Center for the Study of the American South and President of the School Board at The Hawbridge School. Additional experience includes positions as an Assistant Editor at UNC Press, Assistant Program Manager at UNC World View, and substitute teacher roles at both Carolina Friends School and New Century Charter High School. Katy Vinroot holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology and Comparative Religion from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master's degree in Southern Studies from the University of Mississippi.
