Arthur D. Vaughn

Arthur D. Vaughn serves as the Associate Vice President for Business and Finance at Morehouse College since July 2018, overseeing a comprehensive financial operation with a budget of $157 million. Prior to this role, Arthur was the Executive Director at Morehouse School of Medicine, managing various financial divisions from August 2014 to June 2018. Arthur also held the position of Financial Controller at Southern Polytechnic State University, where a focus on fiscal affairs resulted in six consecutive years of unqualified audit opinions. Earlier experience includes the role of Controller at Oglethorpe University, where strong leadership was demonstrated during a period of organizational change, and as a Senior Consultant at KPMG, leading audits and redesigning business processes. Arthur's educational qualifications include an Ed.D. in Higher Education Administration from The University of Georgia, an MS in Accounting from Kennesaw State University, an MPA in Finance from Clark Atlanta University, and a BA in Economics from Syracuse University.
