Gretchen Seim is a specialized researcher with extensive experience in metabolic studies and nutritional sciences. Currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Morgridge Institute for Research since August 2022, Gretchen Seim previously held positions as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where significant work involved RNA-seq and metabolomic approaches to study macrophage metabolism. Morgridge works to improve human health through innovative, interdisciplinary biomedical discoveries, spark scientific curiosity and serve society through translational outcomes, in partnership with the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Research areas include regenerative biology and bioinformatics, virology, medical engineering, metabolism, core computational technology and bioethics.
