Yu-Hsuan Cheng is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Morgridge Institute for Research since October 2021, following a similar role at Academia Sinica, Taiwan, from June 2020 to September 2021. Yu-Hsuan Cheng's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Genome and Systems Biology from National Taiwan University, completed in June 2020, a Master's degree in Life Sciences and Genome Sciences from National Yang Ming University (2011-2013), and a Bachelor of Science in Life Science from National Taiwan University (2007-2011). Additionally, Yu-Hsuan Cheng completed a summer internship at Academia Sinica in July 2009, focusing on the functionality of Yeast replication origins in Tetrahymena thermophila.

The Morgridge Institute for Research is a nonprofit biomedical institute exploring uncharted scientific territory to discover tomorrow’s cures. Morgridge works to improve human health through innovative, interdisciplinary biomedical discoveries, spark scientific curiosity and serve society through translational outcomes, in partnership with the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Research areas include regenerative biology and bioinformatics, virology, medical engineering, metabolism, core computational technology and bioethics.
