Joachim Hallgren began their work experience in 2005 as an Instruktør at Oslo Turn. In 2011, they joined Axis-Shield PoC as an Engineering: Chemistry professional. Following that, they worked at Alere Technologies from 2014 onwards, holding positions as an Engineer and Ingeneere. In 2017, Joachim started working at Abbott, where they served as an Engineer and Supervisor Lab Production. Joachim remained with Abbott until 2022 when they joined Morrow Batteries as a Quality Engineer. Additionally, in 2019, they briefly returned to Abbott as a Supervisor. During their work at Analytisk Institutt, UiO, from 2005 to 2007, Joachim served as a Lærling.

Joachim Hallgren earned their Ingeniør degree in Kjemi from Oslo and Akershus University College, where they studied from 2008 to 2011.
