Stina Torjesen

Stina Torjesen is the Director of Sustainability at Morrow Batteries, where the focus is on positioning the company as a leader in sustainability by addressing the climate crisis, promoting responsible sourcing, and engaging with stakeholders. With a strong academic background, Stina served as an Associate Professor at the University of Agder, leading EU policy development projects related to batteries and coordinating international collaborations. Experience includes roles as a Senior Research Fellow at Agderforskning, SIGLA as, and NUPI, where Stina focused on sustainability challenges and geopolitical issues in various regions. Earlier career highlights include co-authoring reports for the Small Arms Survey and serving as a Gender in Development Specialist for UNDP in Kazakhstan. Stina's education encompasses a DPhil and MPhil in International Relations from the University of Oxford, a BA in Social and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge, and several foundation courses in History and Development Studies.
