Chandar Lal is a Principal at Mosaic Ventures since January 2020, focusing on investments in early-stage European technology. Chandar is also a Rising Leaders Fellow at The Aspen Institute, beginning in December 2022. From January 2017 to January 2020, Chandar worked as a Manager at Elixirr, specializing in strategy consulting. A secondment at Sequoia Capital occurred from September 2018 to September 2019, where Chandar contributed to corporate development through thematic research, M&A, and strategic partnerships. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Consultant in Strategy, Customer, and Operations at EY from October 2014 to January 2017, primarily serving the financial services sector. Chandar holds an MPhil in Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic from the University of Cambridge and a BA in English Literature from Durham University.
