Catalin Petrescu has extensive work experience in engineering and leadership roles. Catalin is currently Vice President of Engineering at Mosca GmbH. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Executive Officer at GIG - Global Insights Group from 2018 to 2022. Catalin also held the position of Director of Engineering and Quality at Zero-Max, Inc from 2019 to 2022. Catalin'sprevious roles include Manager of Multi-Technology Business Unit and Engineering Manager USA Hub at Tetra Pak from 2015 to 2019, and Manager of Business Excellence and Design Engineering Manager at GEA Group from 2012 to 2015. Catalin has also worked as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Engineering Manager at RWL Water Aeromix from 2011 to 2012, and as Manager of Engineering from 2001 to 2011. Catalin started their career as a Design/Documentation Engineer at GE Water Technologies (formerly Osmonics, currently Suez) from 1995 to 2000. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in leading cross-functional teams, implementing new technologies, and achieving record profit margins.
Catalin Petrescu earned an MBA in International Business Management and Consulting from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management between 2004 and 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a Masters in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Equipment for Chemical and Petrochemical Processing and Storage from the University of Ploiesti - Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, Catalin holds a Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
