Marco Alves is currently the Vice President of Research at Move.ai, where Marco is leading the development of a cutting-edge marker-less motion capture solution. Previously, Marco conducted groundbreaking research on composite materials during their PhD at Imperial College London. Marco has also worked as a visiting researcher at Toyota Motor Europe, KU Leuven, and the University of Southampton, focusing on the prediction and monitoring of mechanical responses in high-performance composites. In addition, Marco has experience as a tutor at Epic FEUP and holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London.
