Kristen Bergeson, SHRM-SCP, has over 20 years of experience in human resources. Their most recent role was as the Vice President of Human Resources at Movement, a start-up fitness/wellness organization. In this position, they were responsible for building and leading the HR function and partnering with organizational leaders to develop and execute HR strategies.
Prior to their role at Movement, Bergeson worked as a Senior Manager of HR Business Partner at DigitalGlobe/Maxar Technologies from 2015 to 2018. Kristen also served as a Senior Manager of Human Resources at Vail Resorts from 2008 to 2015, where they supported over 1000+ employees across multiple functions and business units.
Earlier in their career, they held the position of Human Resources Manager at iCat from 2006 to 2008, where they led the planning and execution of HR programs and services. Kristen also worked as a Human Resources Manager at SunCorp Corporate Credit Union from 2002 to 2004 and at Colorado Credit Union League from 2000 to 2002.
Bergeson began their career at SPECTRUM Human Resource Systems Corporation as a Senior Product Support Representative, where they provided training and technical support on a Human Resource Information System.

Kristen Bergeson, SHRM-SCP, completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration with an emphasis in HR from the University of Colorado Boulder - Leeds School of Business from 1993 to 1998. In addition to their degree, Kristen obtained several certifications in the field. Kristen earned the SHRM - SCP certification from SHRM in July 2015 and the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification in June 2015, also from SHRM. Kristen also obtained the SPHR certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) in May 2014.
