Kristian Melhuus

Kristian Melhuus has extensive experience in leadership and governance roles across various industries, including seafood, oil services, and investment management. Currently serving as a Venturist at Sandwater since October 2021, Kristian actively engages with growth companies to promote impact venture investments in the Nordics and beyond. Kristian holds the position of Vice Chairman at Mowi ASA, a leading seafood company, since January 2018, and has contributed to Tendenzer AS as a Board Member since November 2021. Previous positions include Chairman of Axactor, Board Member at Archer and NorAm Drilling Company, and Director at Seatankers Management Company Limited. Kristian’s educational background includes a Master of Science in Industrial Economics and Technology Management from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and further studies at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
