MPI Offshore
David Salmon is an experienced engineering manager with a demonstrated history in the offshore wind energy sector and civil engineering. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Van Oord since October 2018, David also holds a similar position at MPI Offshore since September 2011, overseeing a team of engineers for the transportation and installation of offshore wind farm components. Prior to these roles, David was a Principal Engineer and Project Manager at Halcrow, a CH2M HILL Company, and at WYG Group, where responsibilities included civil and structural engineering design in highways and bridges. David began their career as a Graduate Engineer at Mason Pittendrigh Ltd following the completion of a Civil Engineering degree at Teesside University.
