Kelly Finley

Kelly Finley is an accomplished author and educator with extensive experience in women's and gender studies, music education, and programming. As the Founder and Director of Girls Rock Charlotte since 2014, Kelly Finley has developed impactful camps aimed at empowering young girls through music and leadership skills. In the academic realm, Kelly Finley serves as a Senior Lecturer and Undergraduate Advisor at UNC Charlotte, overseeing one of the largest Women's and Gender Studies programs in the country. Additionally, Kelly Finley contributes to Ms. Magazine's Committee of Scholars and has a history in executive programming from previous roles at The Conference Group and Institutional Investor. Kelly Finley holds a Master’s degree in Women's Studies from The University of Alabama and a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
