Raquel Bicalho de Azevedo

Raquel Bicalho de Azevedo is a legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and finance. Currently serving as Director and Assistant General Counsel at MUFG since November 2016, Raquel previously held the position of Vice President and Counsel within the same institution. Prior to that, Raquel worked at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer from September 2006 to September 2016 as a Senior Associate, focusing on finance and serving as the lead US associate for the firm's Latin America practice and Brazil group. Raquel began a legal career at Levy & Salomão Advogados as an Associate from October 2001 to December 2005, where responsibilities included managing complex corporate transactions.
