Michael Arbour CIRM has a strong background in information technology, project management, and systems analysis. Michael started their career in 1998 at CSA Group, where they held various roles including Senior Systems Analyst, Manager of Applications, IT Manager of Operations, Business Relationship Manager, and Director of Project Delivery. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Project Manager and General Contractor in residential house construction. In 2011, they joined Georgian College as an IT Project Management Part-time Professor. Since then, they have worked at the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation, beginning as Manager of Business Systems and later becoming Director of Information Technology and Director of Corporate Systems SAP Suite.
Michael Arbour CIRM pursued their education in various fields and institutions. In 1983, they attended the University of Waterloo, focusing on General Science. Following this, from 1984 to 1987, they studied Computer Engineering Technology at Sault College of Applied Arts and Technology, obtaining a diploma with a GPA of 4.0. In 1992, they briefly attended York University, specializing in Business. Finally, in 2010, they attended Georgian College, focusing on Adult Teaching and Training.
