Catherine Carlton serves as Chief of Staff and Chief of Disability Services at MHMR of Tarrant County since February 2013, overseeing programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and advising the CEO on strategic implementation and stakeholder engagement. Prior experience includes roles as Communication Director, where responsibilities included public relations, corporate branding, and internal communications, and Media Relations, Community Relations, and Marketing Manager at Direct Energy, managing various communications initiatives and partnerships. Earlier, Catherine worked as a Media Representative for PNM Resources, handling communications for an electric and gas utility. Educational credentials include a Certified Public Communicator from Texas Christian University, a Master of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University, and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Political Science also from Northwestern University, along with a high school diploma from Vivian Webb School.
