Mette Qvistgaard

Mette Qvistgaard is an accomplished professional in the art and design industries with a rich history of diverse roles. Currently serving as an Account Manager and previously as an Executive and Creative Producer for MycoWorks since June 2020, Mette has a strong focus on brand and marketing strategies. From January 2010 to June 2020, Mette was the Principal and Client Director at LedyardQvistgaard Design Office, a graphic design studio dedicated to creating impactful visual languages. Prior experience includes positions as Gallery Associate, Art Historian, and Curator at Michael Shapiro Gallery and other art institutions from 2000 to 2009, as well as a Writer for the National Danish Encyclopedia on American Art at Gyldendal from 1997 to 2000. Mette's early career involved supporting curatorial efforts at the SMK – National Gallery of Denmark from 1993 to 1996. Mette holds a Master's degree in Art History from the University of California, Berkeley, and has a background in art education from Københavns Universitet and Nykøbing Katedralskole.
