George Danezis

George Danezis is a distinguished professional in the field of security and privacy engineering, currently serving as Co-founder and Chief Scientist at Mysten Labs since November 2021. Danezis holds advisory roles at Privitar and Vega Protocol, while also being a Faculty Fellow at The Alan Turing Institute and a Professor of Security and Privacy Engineering at University College London. Previous experience includes a tenure as a Research Scientist at Facebook, where contributions were made to the Diem payment network, and as Co-Founder and Head of Research at Chainspace.
