NAACP
Jennifer James serves as the President of the NAACP and Secretary of the NAACP Youth and College Council, both positions held since May and June 2023, respectively. Jennifer also holds the role of Vice President of Marketing for the Black Business Undergraduate Society since January 2023 and has been a Co-Programmer for Curl Talk Umich since April 2022. Additionally, Jennifer is a Program Assistant at the Trotter Multicultural Center for the 2023-2024 academic year and previously served as Secretary for NAACP Umich from July 2022 to August 2023. Jennifer gained early experience as an Accounting Intern at AllProColor and was involved in Corporate and Government Affairs at DTE Energy. Jennifer completed a summer internship at Accenture in July 2018. Currently, Jennifer is pursuing studies at the University of Michigan, having previously graduated from Cass Technical High School with a diploma focused on Business Administration and Management.
