George Lauro is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in venture development and advisory roles across various firms. Currently serving as Board Advisor at Abacus Semiconductor and Miraex, Lauro contributes to advancements in AI/ML processors and quantum computing technologies. As Managing Partner and CEO of Alteon Capital Partners, Lauro co-founded a firm dedicated to commercializing deep tech innovations in IT. Additionally, Lauro is a Founding Partner at GeneWorx Capital, focusing on life sciences investments, and acts as a Board Partner at Kairos Ventures, providing strategic oversight for early-stage companies in physical and life sciences. Lauro has held board positions at multiple public and private tech companies and is a member of the Deal Screening Committee for the Band of Angels. Lauro holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School and degrees in Electrical Engineering from both the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Brown University.
