Team Leader City Design & Urban Renewal at Napier City Council

Georgina King is an experienced urban designer and landscape architect with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Team Leader for City Design & Urban Renewal at Napier City Council since January 2015, Georgina previously held the position of Senior Landscape Architect at Opus International Consultants Limited for a short-term contract. From April 2003 to April 2014, Georgina was the Director at King Consultants HB Limited, focusing on urban design and landscape architecture. Earlier career experience includes a role as Senior Landscape Architect at Environmental Management Services Ltd, consulting for local government agencies and the private sector. Georgina's expertise was further enhanced by a scholarship for landscape architecture work on large-scale waterway restoration projects in the USA and Canada. Georgina obtained a Bachelor's degree with Honors in Landscape Architecture from Lincoln University, New Zealand.
