Carlos Garcia-Galan has over two decades of experience in aerospace engineering and mission operations, currently serving as the Manager of the Orion ESM Integration Office at NASA since January 2007. With previous roles including Deputy Manager of the Orion Vehicle Integration Office and NASA MPCV Mission & Systems Integration Lead, Carlos is instrumental in guiding technical direction for Orion's fault management, mission event sequencing, and command/telemetry integration. Prior experience as an International Space Station Flight Controller and significant roles at Honeywell and Barrios Technology further complement expertise in both operational and systems integration aspects within aerospace missions. Carlos holds two Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering and Space Science from the Florida Institute of Technology.
