Emanuel Robinson

Emanuel Robinson is a seasoned expert in human factors, cognitive psychology, and research methodologies, currently serving as Board Director for the Board on Human-Systems Integration at The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine since October 2022. Previously, Robinson held significant roles including Practice Lead/Senior Research Scientist at Battelle, and Senior Study Director/Senior Research Scientist at Westat, where contributions focused on social policy and transportation safety. Earlier experience includes a Visiting Scientist position at Brown University, a Statistical Consultant role, and coordinating a federally funded research lab at Georgia Institute of Technology, where extensive research in metacognition, reasoning, and behavioral economics was conducted. Educational accomplishments include a Ph.D. and M.S. in Experimental Psychology from Georgia Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Psychology from the University of New Orleans.
