Natacha Blain, JD, PhD, serves as the Board Director for both the Committee for Law and Justice and the Board on Children, Youth and Families at The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. With over 15 years of experience in social justice, Natacha's career includes roles such as Chief Counsel to Senator Dick Durbin and Lead Strategic Advisor for the Children’s Defense Fund. Natacha has also held positions as Legislative Director for Senator Sheldon Whitehouse, Director of Research for The Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and Director of Strategic Initiatives at Alliance for Justice. Natacha's education includes a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the Medical College of Pennsylvania, a JD from Villanova University, and a BA in Psychology from St. John's University.
