Michelle Moga

Michelle Moga currently serves as the Director of Leadership Gifts at the National Audubon Society, a position held since 2023. Previously, Michelle was the VP of Venture Philanthropy at Forterra from 2021 to 2022. From 2012 to 2020, Michelle held the role of VP of Philanthropy at 5th Avenue Theatre, contributing to strategic planning and significantly increasing contributed income. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Development Officer at The Urban Institute from 2010 to 2012, where Michelle built a development program for funding support, and Director of Donor Engagement & Stewardship at The Nature Conservancy from 2008 to 2010, managing donor relations for high-level contributors. Michelle also worked as Director of Development at NPR from 2004 to 2008, achieving a substantial increase in funding, and as Director of Major & Planned Gifts at the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra from 1998 to 2004, where major gift initiatives were successfully implemented. Earlier in Michelle's career, there was a role as Associate Director of Development at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions from 1996 to 1998.
