C.E. Pugh has extensive work experience in the grocery industry, starting in 1988 as the Vice President of Operations at White's Fresh Foods. In 2002, they became the General Manager of La Montañita Co-op Food Market until 2008. Finally, in 2008, Pugh became the CEO of National Co+op Grocers.
C.E. Pugh attended Virginia Tech from 1976 to 1978, where they completed two years of coursework in Business Administration and Management, General.
