Previous roles include Head of Resilience Communications at the Energy Networks Association, Head of Media at Ofgem, and Deputy Director of Communications and Engagement at the London Ambulance Service NHS Trust. O'Brien's extensive experience in media relations includes significant positions at Network Rail, NHS Blood and Transplant, and the Metropolitan Police. Academic credentials include a BA Hons in Theology & Public Media from the University of Leeds.
