Anna Mulligan is currently a Research Associate at the NIBRT National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training, a position held since September 2022. Prior experience includes a Chemistry Intern role at the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine from April 2021 to September 2021, and serving as a Camp Assistant at Anyone 4 Science from February 2017 to February 2018. Anna holds a Bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry from Dublin City University, completed in 2022, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Bioanalytical Chemistry at University College Dublin, starting in September 2023.

The National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training (NIBRT) is a global centre of excellence for training and research in bioprocessing. NIBRT is located in a new, world class facility in Dublin, Ireland. This facility is purpose built to closely replicate a modern bioprocessing plant with state of the art equipment. NIBRT is based on an innovative collaboration between University College Dublin, Trinity College Dublin, Dublin City University and the Institute of Technology, Sligo.
