NIST Fellow And Team Leader, Condensed Matter Physics at National Institute of Standards and Technology

Jeffrey Lynn is a distinguished physicist with extensive experience in neutron scattering, currently serving as a NIST Fellow and Team Leader in Condensed Matter Physics at NIST since August 1976. Concurrently, Jeffrey Lynn holds the position of Adjunct Professor of Physics at the University of Maryland and is affiliated with the Quantum Materials Center, after previously being a full Professor of Physics until 1997. Prior to these roles, Jeffrey Lynn worked as a Research Associate at Brookhaven National Laboratory and was an ORAU Fellow at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Jeffrey Lynn obtained a Ph.D. in Physics from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where involvement spanned from 1965 to 1974.
