Kenya Smith

Kenya Smith, MBE, MHA, CFCC, GCDF, is an accomplished leader in professional development and training with extensive experience across various federal agencies. Currently serving as Chief Learning Officer for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Kenya has previously held similar roles as Chief Learning Officer at the US Department of Commerce's National Telecommunication and Information Administration, and as National Program Manager for the Veterans As Mentors Program at the Department of Veterans Affairs. With a strong background in military operations and education, Kenya has developed and implemented numerous training programs and educational initiatives, enhancing career development across diverse settings. Educational qualifications include multiple master's degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Health Care Administration, and Curriculum and Instruction, along with a bachelor's degree in Public Relations from Iona University.
