Geoffrey Notkin

President Emeritus at National Space Society

Geoffrey Notkin is a prominent figure in the fields of applied paleontology and space exploration, serving as a Member of the Board of Directors for the Association of Applied Paleontological Sciences since February 2024. Notkin has held significant roles within the National Space Society since May 2015, including Board of Governors member and President Emeritus. As the Chief Executive Officer of Aerolite Meteorites, Inc. since 1994 and Senior Executive Producer at Desert Owl Productions, Inc. since 2013, Notkin has been influential in various media projects, including hosting the award-winning series "Meteorite Men" and a STEM-focused educational television series. Notkin also contributes to the Astrosociology Research Institute and previously served on the advisory board of Deep Space Industries. A graduate of the School of Visual Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Notkin combines expertise in media and space sciences.

The National Space Society (NSS) is an independent, educational, grassroots, non-profit organization dedicated to the creation of a spacefaring civilization.
