Tengi George-Ikoli serves as the Country Manager at the Natural Resource Governance Institute since July 2021, previously holding the position of Senior Officer focused on oil dependency and envisioning a future beyond oil. Prior to this role, Tengi worked as a Consultant on similar issues and coordinated programs at the Nigeria Natural Resource Charter from November 2016 to May 2021, overseeing program management, public policy advisory, and economic development initiatives. Tengi's earlier experience includes serving as a Project Management Consultant for the Facility for Oil Sector Transparency, advocating for governance in the oil, gas, and mining sectors. Academically, Tengi holds a Legal Practice Course (LPC) from BPP Law School, a Master’s in Commercial Law (LLM) from the University of Bristol, a Law and Economics (LLB) degree from the University of Wales, Swansea, and completed A Levels at Cobham Hall, Kent.
