Harrison Tan is a Senior Data Scientist at NatureMetrics, responsible for developing and applying innovative methods for analyzing natural systems data using environmental DNA. Prior to their current role, Harrison worked as a PHD Researcher at the University of Leeds, investigating interactions between Caspian seals, the environment, and human impacts. Additionally, Harrison has experience as a Publishing Assistant at Springer Nature, where Harrison assisted in the peer-review process. Harrison holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Zoology/Animal Biology from the University of Leeds, a MRes in Conservation Biology from the University of Sussex, and a Bsc Hons in Biology from the same institution.
