Gwenael Ropars

Gwenael Ropars is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in contract and compliance management across various sectors, including procurement, real estate, power generation, and telecommunications. Currently serving as VP Legal & Contract for Procurement and Real Estate at Thales, Ropars previously held the position of Group General Counsel at Naval Group since December 2014 and has a history of leadership roles at Alstom Power, including Deputy General Counsel for Steam and Legal Director for Southern Europe & North Africa. Early career roles included Deputy General Counsel at Alcatel-Lucent and Senior Legal Counsel at Alcatel CIT, where Ropars managed complex international contracts and litigation processes. Educational qualifications include a DESS from Paris-Pantheon-Assas University and a DEA from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne.
