Simon Conia

Simon CONIA is a naval architect with extensive experience in safety engineering and loss prevention, currently serving as a Seaworthiness Assurance Leader and Safety Engineer at NAVAL GROUP since September 2017. Prior to this role, Simon worked as a Safety & Loss Prevention Engineer at Néodyme, where responsibilities included hazardous area classification and firewater demand calculations for industrial projects within the oil and gas sector. Previous positions also encompass an internship as a Project Manager at Cofely Axima, technical assistance at the University of Maryland focusing on combustion simulations, and safety technical assistance at Roquette. Simon holds a degree in Industrial Risk Management from the Engineering School of Bourges and has participated in military training with the Reserve Army.
