Jungmo Koo is a researcher at NAVER LABS Corp. since January 2022, specializing in robot vision with a focus on object detection and segmentation. Prior experience includes a role as a senior researcher at Seadronix Corp. from March 2020 to February 2021, where work centered on object detection and segmentation in marine environments and deep learning for embedded robot systems utilizing NVIDIA platforms. An early internship at the Korea Research Institute of Ships & Ocean Engineering involved research on navigation systems and underwater 3D mapping technologies. Jungmo Koo is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in A.I. at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, building on a Master of Engineering in the same field obtained from the same institution and a Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from Kyung Hee University.
